Our comprehensive platform monitors and evaluates FOI requests submitted by journalists, civil society organizations (CSOs), activists, lawyers, academics, and citizens across Turkey. By collecting and analyzing this valuable data, we are building an unprecedented dataset that illuminates the challenges, patterns, and systemic issues in accessing public information in Turkey.
By monitoring the progress and identifying any gaps or deficiencies in FoI implementation, the platform advocates for improvements and contribute to a more transparent and accountable governance system, particularly with respect to protecting and advancing fundamental human rights.
